Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by February 14, 2026 via our website or by texting Shaira at (408) 881-4877. We unfortunately can't accommodate RSVPs past this date.

Where will the wedding be?

All wedding events will be at Arbor Terrace at Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens. Be sure to turn left and follow signs for Arbor Terrace once you enter.

What time Should I Arrive?

Guests should arrive at 2:30 PM for welcome drinks and seating. The ceremony will begin at 3 PM sharp and we can't accommodate late arrivals.

What should I wear?

The dress code is cocktail attire. This generally means that knee-length or midi cocktail dresses, evening dresses, sundresses, jumpsuits, casual suits, slacks, button-downs, suits and sports coats with or without ties are perfect for our wedding.

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be fully outdoors, and reception will be in a partially outdoor space, so we recommend bringing a layer! It's typically a low of 49 and a high of 69 in Fallbrook in March.

While we appreciate everyone's individual style, we kindly request that guests refrain from wearing informal clothing like shirts and jeans.

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Please avoid any colors traditionally reserved for the bride—whites, ivories, beiges, and any creams.

And in case you were curious, the wedding party will be wearing lavender.

Will there be parking at the venue?

There's lots of parking available at the venue! If needed, you can leave your vehicle at the venue overnight, as long as it's picked up by noon on Sunday.

Will there be transportation provided?

If you choose not to drive to the venue or plan to drink (it is an open bar after all), we're sponsoring Uber rides to and from the venue. We'll send you codes the day of!

Are there any cultural traditions you're incorporating into the wedding?

We’re doing a money dance during our reception! It’s a wedding tradition common between Filipinos and Mexicans where guests “pay” to dance with the bride or groom by pinning money to them as well wishes for good fortune in their new life together. Bring dollar bills if you’re interested, but we’ll also have digital means to participate on the day of.

Can I bring a Plus One / Date? Can (another person) come?

The number of seats and names of guests in your party are listed on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to {Your name} and Guest if a plus one has been added to your party. Unfortunately, due to space constraints, we can't accommodate any additional guests.

Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones, but we have decided to have our wedding be mostly child-free, with the exception of a few select family members. Unless noted on your invite, we kindly ask that only named guests aged 12 and up attend.

We hope to see you all soon!

How they met the groom

OUR STORY

Junior and Shaira met at work in 2018, but really connected outside the office over long conversations, shared dreams, and an ongoing search for the best poke and boba.

They started dating a year later and moved in together not long after. They quickly learned that "when you know, you know" is especially true when you survive being stuck indoors together in a loft during the early days of the pandemic, with no third person to blame for not washing the dishes. They became a steady team who loves traveling, eating good food, building a life together, and spending time with their Husky, Charlie, who, let's be honest, runs the house.

Japan became one of their favorite places early on, which made getting engaged there in December 2024 especially meaningful. Now they're excited to keep traveling, trying new restaurants, coming home to Charlie, and tackling big ideas and adventures with the people they love by their side.
